ParaShoot HD Luck Help Guide

The Help Guide shows the unit being used as a dash cam...with a picture of the unit and the micro USB cable... am I assuming correctly that the cable is plugged into a cigarette lighter adapter that receives the USB end of the cord? That way the unit is powered for as long as my memory card will hold data? Thanks
