Connecting your Parashoot to Third Party Mounts

Using this tutorial, you can learn how to create new mounting options for your ParaShoot by connecting it to existing third party mounts.

Turns out the two strut “male” mount piece for the ParaShoot window mount fits with into the three strut “female” mount receiver of GoPro mount accessories.


1. Remove the tightening knob that connects the ParaShoot connection mount from the ParaShoot window mount. Keep the screw, the tightening knob, and the connection mount.

2. Align the two strut “male” ParaShoot connection mount to the three strut “female” GoPro mount.

3. Use the ParaShoot screw from step 1 to line up the connection properly.

4. When aligned properly, the screw will fit all the way through.

5. Reattach the ParaShoot tightening knob to complete the connection.

Mounting to a steering wheel like this wouldn't be really useful, but it does demonstrate that you can mount the ParaShoot using existing 3rd party mounting kits already available on the market.
